With so many meanings behind the butterfly there is one sure thing, no home should be without one. These beautiful little sculptures are all glass. There is no paint and no added parts. The imagination on these beautiful pieces can just go wild. I had so much fun designing, but I am definitely not done playing with them. Keep checking back for a new design. And if you want to pick colors of your own, just contact me with your ideas and lets make a butterfly together.
I am so excited to present a new item I am working on. It is not up for sale just yet since it is still in the developmental phase, but I am just about there. I have been working on a design for some time now so to finally have some success is so exciting. I also have a few more idea working so hang in there for a final piece. I hope to hear some feed back from you about what you think. Enjoy looking through the site and stop by my store. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
A little piece of under the sea. This cake top was made focusing on oysters since that was their theme. The large oyster in the middle holds two glass pearls in the color of the bride and grooms birthstones, opal and amber. The little oysters surrounding the large one are for their future children and will receive birthstone glass pearls for each one, so for now they are empty. I also left room for more oysters just in case. To help give the piece life I added kissing fish, seahorses and an octopus on the back side of the cake top. If you would like a special made cake top contact me, I would love to make your wedding cake top.
T. Rose Glass Studio and Seadragon Gallery are going into another year of working together as we enter into the 2015 summer season in Duck, North Carolina.
Seadragon Gallery is just kicking off their 2015 season in Duck. Paula’s store is located on the sound side nestled into a beautiful corner on the dock, overlooking the water; an absolutely gorgeous location. We have been working together for about 4 or 5 years and it has been a pleasure to get the opportunity to collaborate with her. If you are vacationing or even driving through, I hope you will stop by the Seadragon and check out my display of work there. The address is 1240 Duck Rd, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949 and the web address is http://www.seadragongallery.com/
Paula has 5 wonderful sales associates working with her: Pat, Linda, Carol, Ann and Fran. This is a fine art gallery! You can tell by the way the work is displayed and sold, and their limitless knowledge of the artists and pieces they carry, that they have a passion for what they do.
Special orders through the Seadragon have also been done, so don’t be shy to let them know you are interested in one of my creations, but would like it to be a different color or size. It is through their exceptional service that I was commissioned a wedding at the Chicago Shedd Aquarium, and was given the opportunity to make the cake top as well as 150 seahorse ornaments as wedding gifts.
Feel free to send me a shout out on my website when you have stopped by her store so you can let me know about your experience. I look forward to hearing from you. As always remember to friend me on Instagram to be the first to see my newest creations before I put them on my website @trose_glass_studio.
Until next time,
